A name is just a name right?

Okay so we had the ultrasound a couple of weeks ago and we found out the sex of the baby.

Now according to Brent's brother Bryon we were having a girl. (He has 3 girls and 1 boy). Jealousy I think

Mark has one of each. He really didn't weigh in on what he thought we were having.

Will has 2 girls, 3 boys and 1 boy on the way (Congrats Kristy!) they didn't say either

Nate has 3 girls. Amy and I talked a lot about babies when I saw her but I don't recall her saying what we were having. Sorry Amy if you did :)

So here we come to Brent and Katie. We had a girl, then boy, then girl. So we were both happy with whatever we were having but I had a feeling we were having a girl. Brent thought boy. (for the record we have both been wrong every pregnancy so this was a big step) Someone had to be right.

Well we are alternating again. We are having a boy! We are both very excited. We alternated each pregnancy which is really abnormal according to the doc. but whatever!.

Now for the name:

These are the 3 we like the most

1)James Jackson (aka J.J. or Jackson)
2)James Braden (aka Brady)
3)James Logan (Logan)

We will have James as a first for sure (each kid has been named somewhere after someone) James is Brent's first name, his dad's first name and his grandad's first name.

We took a poll and James Jackson is winning out.

So we are very excited to say that our baby will be called Jackson or J.J.
