Cosmotology Orientation

Okay so here is the deal. I went to orientation today and learned absolutely nothing about the actual program or if I will get in this semester! Crappy huh? Well I did get to meet the professors and that was a good glimpse of things to come. We met some of the freshman who are moving on to real people in the fall and they all had great feedback for us. I took the Test of Adult Basic Education or T.A.B.E as they call it and I passed!!!!! I am so excited. I hate tests and it has been a long time since I have taken any math. I passed and that is all I can ask for.

So the wait begins...again. They said we should know in a week if we get in. The bad part is, in a week I will be on a plane headed to Utah. So Brent will be calling for our messages and getting the mail. Hopefully they will call and I can call them back to let them know I am very interested in starting the fall term.

So if everyone can say a small prayer that would be very appreciated. If I don't get into the fall term I will surely get into the spring, but I would like to get this show on the road.

Thanks for putting up with all the back and forth with this process!

The house pics

Memories about me and you

So Stacey got this from Lou (her buddy in Utah) and I thought it would be fun to see what others remember about their experiences with me.

1. Leave one memory that you and I had together, as a comment on my blog. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments

The tooth fairy strikes!! Yikes!

So Abbey has had two teeth pulled as a result of her parents strong teeth. But last Monday she lost her very first tooth! Abbey left the tooth fairy a note and the tooth fairy responded. Then last night while Brent was talking to Kelly, Abbey lost another tooth! That is two teeth in one week people!. Abbey again wrote a note to the tooth fairy and she gave Abbey an extra .25 because she lost two teeth in one week. Wow that tooth fairy is going to be broke if Abbey keeps this up!

Oh yeah she has one more that is really wiggly so it will probably be out next week too.

Just think we have 3 kids all in tooth losing ages. I guess the tooth fairy better get another job to pay for all this.

a little more to catch up on...

Okay so the rest of the story is that. we got the girls' beds delivered two days before the rest of the house. I have almost all of the house unpacked now and we can park one car in the garage. Brent got up into the attic and put the christmas stuff up there. Here are some pics of the house right now.

Time to catch everyone up......

Birthdays....

So everyone knows that everyone in the Craig corporation has a Birthday in June with exception of Abbey. So it was very crazy here for a couple of weeks, not including the move. So here it is. Hunter had a great birthday with exception of the nunchuck controllers. After Stacey retrieved them for us Hunter loves his game! Grandma Rosie and Grandad got Hunter a bike and he absolutely loves it!

Caroline had a great day too. We went to the mall and she got to pick where we ate for the day. Of course she picked Taco Bell. Later that night she was so excited to hang with the family. We went and saw the new Indiana Jones movie (liney totally fell asleep). We came home and had some homemade cake from dad. All in all a good day.

Brents birthday......

So here is the cool one. Rosie and James came down to watch the kids because I had to fly home to watch the packers in the South Bend house. We did get to go to dinner at a crab place that was awesome! We ate on the beach and grandad laughed at me trying to eat crab legs.(who knew they made utinsels to eat crab with?) We came home and gave Brent his presents. Rosie and James got Brent a golf bag and I got him new golf clubs. Nike somethings. I don't know but James really liked them so we will call it a good present. We had to celebrate Brents Birthday the day before because he was in Talahasse all day of the 24. Fun huh?

My birthday..........

Well what can I say? I sat in a house of people I didn't know at all and watched them pack all day. My friend Carey took me to lunch and I did start to feel like it was a cool day. The waitress heard me say it was my birthday and they all sang to me. Now we all know that I love attention, but only when I am prepared for it. These people totally took me off guard. I was so red in the face. But Ada liked it. After lunch I headed back to the house to find the same people still packing the house. That was pretty much the highlight.

Now that is the bad part of the birthday. While Brent was in Talahasse, a jeweler was going out of business. Now Brent never ever and I mean ever spends money on jewelry so when he said he got me jewelry for my birthday I laughed at him. The kids gave me a really pretty bracelet and necklace that I can wear to the formal thing we go to. Brent and I have this joke about my wedding ring. He got it at Sams club 2 weeks before the wedding and it turns my finger green but who cares right. He always joked that if we got to our 10 year anniversary he would get me a real ring. Apparently he decided to bet on the anniversary and got me a new wedding ring. It is soooo gorgeous!! Now I had to ask why Brent would spend money on stuff like this, and his response was true Brent Craig. I wasn't going to until I saw the nice markdowns! I knew it. But I am still so happy anyway. Thank you moneymaker.

So that was the birthdays in a nut shell.

A quick update

Okay so I know that people want to see the new house, and I would love to put some pics up real soon. I just need to unpack the camera oops! Just to let everyone know, we are in the new house, it is great, and the unpacking never ends. Will advise soon. Thanks for being patient.
